Sometimes, staff and volunteers of non-profit organizations feel alone. Not anymore. We want to have you join our community as a Member, to help support your events. We are developing a forum for non-profit organizations to exchange ideas and discuss issues that pertain to us all.
There are so many worthy charities in our communities doing such good work, but fewer ways to let our neighbors know what we do.
Rather than depend on others to promote us, BE THERE LOCAL is a way for us to come together to promote ourselves.
BE THERE LOCAL was a dream for a long time. As the internet became more important in our daily lives, it left us with less time for those around us.
If your organization has ongoing events offered to the public, you will be listed on our Ongoing Events list on the calendar page with links to these events, and to your own website.
This membership is free for non-profit organizations.
People from out of town will know where to look for your events, since our site will cover different locations.
We even have a map and list local sponsoring businesses.
We help bring our neighbors back to our community and away from isolating screens.
We limit each organization to one individual event per day (this does not include Ongoing Events). We can show events on multiple days and can show more info about the event with a simple click for a description and a link to your website for tickets or more info.

The old saying to never discuss politics, sex and religion with company holds true here. We want to come together, not grow further apart.
BE THERE LOCAL is open to many not-for-profit organizations to publicize their events. We are limiting our events to those that are entertaining, enriching or educational for the community.
We are an inclusive bunch, but don’t want to be involved with discrimination or any polarizing activities.

Small Business Event Listings
Be There Local is built for nonprofit organizations sharing their community events for free, but we know many local small businesses host their own community moments too, like recitals, showcases, and one-time celebrations that neighbors love hearing about. If that’s you, we offer a limited paid listing that features your event on the calendar for up to two weeks leading up to the day, for a nominal fee. To keep the calendar focused on nonprofit community events, we limit small business listings to once or twice a year per business. Interested? Contact Us to submit your event for review.
